Change is Not Always a Bad Thing
Though this website has been published for a while, I recently finished some major upgrades to it to make it work better on all devices, but especially on smartphones.
As part of this upgrade, I have been thinking a lot about any other changes I can make to improve the site. And actually, I do have a rather long list that I've been adding to since before the site was first launched that I just haven't gotten around to including yet.
Most of the upcoming changes and additions have to do with activities and experiences that are available in different coastal areas. Some of these activities will definitely be centered around the water - fishing, available watersports, etc. But, for those of you not quite as interested in such 'active participation' endeavors, there will be lots of other information included on things like shopping, entertainment, local attractions, and shopping. Did I say shopping twice? Maybe that's because many of us think that shopping while on vacation is important enough to deserve two mentions.
So, aside from the new design, one of the other new changes is this blog! I'm not sure exactly where this blog will take us, but some possibilities are that I will write about some of my favorite travel locations, maybe include an occasional photo essay (just a collection of photos on a particular topic), travel tips, and sometimes just my thoughts on, and a link to, other articles about coastal topics or beach locations that I think you'll enjoy reading.
So, pull up a chair, put your feet up and get comfortable, and we'll get started...
